Only 1 Hepatitis C PCR per 12 months can be bulk billed unless the patient is receiving treatment. If the patient is on treatment, this must be stated on the request form and up to 4 PCR tests per 12 months can be bulk billed.
Requests for urgent testing must be approved by the Microbiology Unit Head. |
