Retrospective testing not possible.

A Thermos MUST be collected from Pathology Laboratory to prewarm collection tubes prior to collecting samples. The Thermos containing the sample tubes is then returned to the Pathology Laboratory for sample processing.

At 37'C
Send to lab immediately

Keep at 37 degrees and deliver within 2 hours of collection.

Note: Cryoglobulin and Cryofibrinogen collections are only available Monday-Friday (excluding Public Holidays) and specimens must be delivered to the laboratory between the following hours.

New Footscray Hospital: 08:30-15:30 hrs
