Additional Notes:

Reference Range :

Adult (>12yrs):  12 - 42 umol/L

< 12 y.o :               7 - 21 umol/L

Vitamin E is highly lipid soluble and levels should be corrected for lipid levels (Suggest: Ratio of Vitamin E (in umol/L) divided by the sum of Cholesterol and Triglycerides (in mmol/L). A Ratio of greater than or equal to 1.59 is considered normal. Eur J Nutr 43: 86 - 92, 2004). Increasing levels are seen with age.
