Apixaban Level.

No “therapeutic range” for apixaban has been established. Predicted peak and trough concentrations are reported below.Measuring the presence of apixaban may be helpful to assure absence of drug prior to invasive procedures or thrombolytic therapy.

Measuring apixaban is less likely to be useful to assess possible over-anticoagulation in cases of haemorrhage or possible under-anticoagulation in cases of treatment failure.
