HER2 ISH Paraffin Section

Note:  From 01/01/2018 HER2 ISH will be performed and reported internally by Anatomical Pathology. Prior to this change HER2 ISH test were a Sendaway Test to Monash Pathology.

Registration:

HER2 ISH  is an add-on test to an existing biopsy accession. Test registration is performed by Anatomical Pathology.

Authorisation:

Pathologist authorisation required.

Pathologist block selection required.

Lab Instruction: Cut a 4 micron section onto a charged slide. Label with patient name and accesion number.
