Specimen dissection of a fresh renal core to select a sample for EM fixation is performed by Anatomical Pathology. Tissue size selected for EM must not exceed 1 mm cube. |

Discuss the procedure schedule with the histology laboratory (62476) prior to sample procurement. A scientist will attend to assess for glomeruli and transport the sample. |
