Retrospective testing not possible.

Patient should fast 9-12 hours prior to sample collection. Please note if patient is fasting or not. Exception is given to infants and people suspected or known to have certain medical conditions where prolonged fasting is not possible. In such instances, a sample taken just before the next feed/meal is acceptable.

The patient must not consume any alcohol for 24 hours before the specimen is drawn.
