Collection & Request Instructions:

Procedure should commence between 8 - 9:30am.

Collect EDTA and Lithium Heparin/SST for baseline ACTH and Cortisol levels.

Administer 250micrograms Synacthen either IV or IM.

Collect Lithium Heparin/SST at 30 mins and 60 mins for Cortisol levels.
